GeQuInDi

At the Univeristy of Bayreuth, multifarious scientific impulses and activities are set in the fields of gender and queer studies, as well as in intersectionality and diversity oriented research. Especially important in this context is the „Netzwerk Gender, Queer, Intersectionality und Diversity Studies“ (GeQuInDi), which was founded in 2016 with the support of the Equal Opportunities Department. Besides its function as a forum for networking and scientific exchange, GeQuInDi also promotes an institutional strengthening and visibility of these topics and approaches in research and teaching. GeQuInDi assembles a pool of experts from the different specialist areas, which work, inter alia, in the fields of gender, queer, intersectionality and diversity studies.
